5 random things about me

1. I have a love hate relationship with summer. Its my favorite season and I love everything about it but at same time because I have gained so much weight in the last few years I hate it because it forces me to have to shed layers that act as my security blanket.

2. I'm in school to be a physical therapy assistant but if it were up to me I would like to win lotto and stay a stay at home mom forever. I love being here for my kids when they need me, at the moment I drop them off pick them up and if they call from school sick I'm able to drop everything and go to them.

3. I met my husband on the internet. I was living in Ga and he was in Ca (he had just gotten out of Navy), we talked online for a few months, then he moved to Ga and 3 months later we got married. We will have been married for 9 years in Jan. We have made it longer than most people and for sure celebrities ex Kim K. bwahaha

4. Sadly I don't talk to many of my family or husbands family on a regular basis and I am a huge family person. For whatever the reason either busy lives on all ends or a very small group don't like me, I still wish that I was closer with everyone but that doesn't ever seem likely.  Occasionally we talk on facebook but nothing like we probably should. Oh and the one that doesn't like me doesn't like me cause I called him out and  he didn't like what I had to say. Has no other reason, I even try to be civil with him now and he doesn't talk to me would rather pretend I don't exsist. Oh well.

5. I hate to cook but Im a good chef when I actually put effort in it. I grumble and put off cooking for as long as I can in the day and when I put forth the effort mainly because its not something simple that's when my best dishes come out.

The time is now...

I'm making the choice here and now to change. Im tired of looking at pinterest and my fashion magazines at clothes that match my style and loves but yet not able to find those in my size. Granted Im not the biggest person and yes they certainly make those clothes for people my size but In certain  have the most awkward body, Im bigger in some areas and short so clothes are hard to find in the perfect fit. For example pants that fit my waist are too long and too baggy on the legs, shirts are just as bad. Im tired of being able to pick clothes out and make cute outfits but not for myself. Tired of buying cute bags, and accessories and not wearing them cause they don't match the clothes I try to hide in. so with that being said Im making it public here and now that Im losing the weight. Im working towards making the outside match the inside. Im getting back to where I was before I let myself go after kids. Im excited and nervous at the same time.

What dreams may come...

So for a while I have been obessed with reading other blogs and wishing that I could do that. Most of the blogs I read are blogs of moms taking care of their kids and doing what they want in life that makes them happy. I have been living my life for my kids and husband not so much myself. For the past few years I have been talking to my husband about wishing I could start my own business. He supports me even when my ideas are out there. I was selling 31 Gifts for a while failing. Was about to try and become a consultant for my favorite blanket company Everything Happy. As much as I love those two companies, it wasnt mine. Mine, my own piece of the world that is for me. One of the ideas I had that I wanted to start but wasnt sure was photography. Well I absoltely love taking pictures and even took a second art credit in school just because they added digital photography to the list. As soon as I saw it up as an option I knew I had to take it and i know that I will be taking photography 2! I got a new camera and couldnt be any happier! I went from a old sony to now Im a Nikon girl! I am starting off with the Nikon d3100, and once I get my business up and running I will save up and get a more advance camera and some lenses. The girls are excited to be my little models for my portfolio and Im excited because Im going to be hitting up shops looking for cheap props. Even my husband is in on the fun as he is my free labor helping to build some of my props!! Im just so excited to get this up and going, to spread my love and bring beautiful memories and moments to others. Im still going to school because I want to say that I finally finished and have a degree under my belt, after all I still need to be an educational role model to my daughters. Cant wait to see what this journey brings my way!

Pinterest!

I have three obsessions in my life: my family (that includes our pets :-D ), my camera and PINTEREST!!!!! I seriously have a to do list a mile long, a style want list that makes my husband cringe, and now Im working on list that remind me of each of my girls and a summer list. I hope that this summer me and the family can make a new list of things we have done this summer. I printed up a list and each day the girls are going to pick something new to do. Hope we can get most of the list done! On a side note, my mother in law found us a cute house to rent, I dont want to get my hopes up to high because everytime I do it always falls through. But we really need this, we really want this for our family and household. Just going to pray on it and hopefully it will work out for the best! Below is our kitty Alice, just thought Id show you her pretty face!!!

SICK DOG DAYS

Not sure anyone is really reading this but I am going to share how my weekend has been so far. Woke up Friday sick as a dog. But I had to take my car to get fixed where someone hit it at school, a lot of studying for my math exam Saturday, cheer practice that night, and MORE studying!!! Got a really nice rental car GMC Terrain, I'm so going to get one of those once I'm done with school! So spacious, yet not so big that it's hard for me to drive being so short! ha ha I'm in LOVE! Cheer practice was fun girls got to learn first cheer and use their pom poms for the first time! They were so excited and I cant wait to get pictures of them in shirts and uniforms! This is our first time doing something like this and I couldn't be more proud of them!!! Those are my baby birds! Now the down side of my weekend was the studying and exam! Being sick it was hard for me to focus, I don't think I did well at all! Going to have to make sure the rest of the exam make up for this epic fail!! The end of my day today ended with us having a meal at burger 101. Talk about delicious. I had a turkey burger since I'm giving up four legged animal meat for lent. Dwight had a buffalo burger cant wait until April when I can have some!

Yea Im finally doing it!

So I decided to join the blogging world! I am adicted to reading blogs. I think I might even be a little addicted to reading them. I have been wanting to start one and I decided tonight I would be like the women who's lives I read every day. Those woman have been my inspiration, they help me with everything like crafts, organizing, home decor, etc. LOVE LOVE it. Well anyways this is my blog, Welcome :-).  Im going to hopefully be an inspiration to others out there. Let me tell you about myself. Im a married mother of two little girls. Those four people are my world. My husband is my rock, he works hard to support our family and let me focus on school and being a mom full time. As you guessed Im also a student! Going a little late in my life, but Im going. For six years I focused on nothing other than being a mom. It wasnt until last January that I decided to go back to school for me and for my family. Its a stuggle at times to juggle all these things on my plate but with my husband behind me I can do anything! My girls are also my little rocks. They keep me focused and on my toes, never a dull moment with them.  Well Im going to leave you with this: You get more bees with honey than with vinegar! My great-grandma used to say it to me all the time. Go out and remember this practice it live it.  <3
